Sikoryak (creator of the book, Masterpiece Comics & Strand tote artist).”
I got 2nd prize, so I don’t get my drawing on a bag, but I get tons of free books and coffee, basically.
And a class at SVA ! That I’m excited about, I hope they have crazy fun classes, I ain’t taking no anatomy or perspective lesson.
The entry the jury picked is the one with the animals. I liked the other one better because I drew dear people and friends in it. Look, there is Tunde, Ryan Sawyer, Alianna Kalaba, Julia Wertz, Sarah Glidden, Karen Sneider and Lisa Hannawalt and her dog Indy under the rain ! I guess I’m the one under the book. I don’t really know why I draw myself like a seven year old child most of the time.

C’était dans le Technikart Hors Série BD, et comme ça devait être approuvé par Disney, y’a plein de détails supers de la nouvelle qui ont dû disparaître. L’oncle par exemple c’est pas des BROSSES A DENTS qu’il achète à la boutique, c’est des CAPOTES. J’ai dû remplacer des gros mots comme putin et merde par des petits mots comme allez, mince, et zut. Y’avait aussi pas droit de dessiner les personnages Disney (d’ou l’affreux ectoplasme de la fin qui devrait être Minnie si je me souviens bien).
