This strip appeared in The Believer sometime last year. Nicolas de Stael is one of my favorite painters. After seeing an opera in Paris, he took off and went back to his studio in the south of France. He got to work on what would be his last painting. He left it unfinished and jumped out the window the same day.

I’ve been working on something about a dingus called Robinson Crusoe.

George W. Bush painted some things. Find this strip in this month’s issue of The Believer.

Another Bureau of Indisputed Truths strip from the Believer.

Pop that zit!

I made a dumb pattern and then I pretended we all could wear it.

(I stole the photo of the nice man in the shirt from a real clothing brand on the internet, I hope it’s ok I defaced him.)

More Butt Investigations for the Bureau. Bureau of Indisputed Truths is a strip that runs in the Believer when I send it in on time.

Pig pig pig pig pig pig pig.

Pig pig pig pig pig pig pig.

Bureau of Indisputed Truths is a strip that appears more than less regularly in The Believer (that’s a magazine.)

The Greenpoint branch of the Brooklyn Public Library was looking for an artist to paint a mural earlier this year. I submitted this… but they passed. I can’t wait to see the winning project, there are many great mural artists in the area. It would be fun to paint a piece of public art in my neighborhood, perhaps another time!

N. B. The second image in the post is a rendering of what the concept would have looked like on the wall, it’s not an actual photo!

I’m finding files I thought were lost that people posted on tumblr. Awesome!

For the Travel section of the New York Times. Collaboration with A.D. Alicia de Santis.

This comic was featured in Nobrow 7, alongside comics and illustrations by an impressive selection of artists. Nobrow 8 is coming out soon and it looks amazing, be sure to track it down.

This month’s Believer is out today, with this strip about a king inside.
